Soupy Steamed Peppery Chicken! |
A
very very light dish which can be enjoyed almost everyday.
This can be had as
a soup in itself.

Ingredients:
1/2 kg Chicken
3 tomatoes chopped in big chunks
1/4 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp coarsely ground pepper
2tsp butter + 2tsp olive oil
2 flakes of chopped garlic
1slit green chilly
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Pinch of red chilly powder (just for color)
Salt
Method:
Heat the butter n olive oil together in a pressure cooker, put in the chicken.
Cover slightly n cook on medium flame for 7-10mins till chicken leaves its
juices n is 70% done.Add the salt, pepper powder, garlic, chilly powder,
green
chilly n chunks of tomato.Stir in n cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Pour in some
water n close lid n pressurize it, turn of the gas just before
the 2nd
whistle.Once the steam is out open n garnish with coarsely
ground pepper n
lemon juice.
Enjoy wit steamed rice or just by itself!
